Cowmans Kind Ranch Horse Sale
This year we have invited some of our personal friends to bring us good using horses from their ranches to compliment the bull sale. These horse have been exposed to many different jobs and environments and some would make superb trail riding, recreational, hunting and arena horses. Having been trained and used on ranches just makes them ready for anything !!!!!
The horses will be at the sale site by 12 pm Friday the 20th of January. A preview of all horses will begin at 3 pm in the Greenspot arena and will start off by being ridden into a branding pen and roping a few calves then they will proceed to the open arena to be ridden at random until 5 pm. There will be gates to open, log to drag, and slicker on fence to better showcase the horse’s abilities. Then stick around for the Bronc Riding at 7 pm.
Horses sell during a half time brek in the bronc riding Friday night !

Chex is a 15.2 hand 1250 lb Red Dun gelding He has been ridden in the hills and on the ranch all year long. He is a good traveler in timber and rocky country, this is a nice gelding, he would make a great trail horse. Chex has sorted alot of cattle in corrals and is a fun horse to brand on.

Scotch s a good all around ranch horse, drug calves, doctored cattle, roped bulls, ground ties, been used in all events of ranch rodeo, will go all day. He is sure footed and handles all kinds of ground- avery smart horse, quick learner really nice to ride!
I bought this colt as a two year old. He has had 60 days at Dan Roesers,And we has used him this
past year on the ranch, he is a nice 15 hand pretty buckskin colored gentle colt that will make anybody a nice horse.
Petron is a 15.1 hand palomino, good minded, athletic gelding. Born & raised outside in the Oregon rimrocks. He is very confident, sure footed and fast walking trotting, smooth and easy to ride. He is cowy and good to sort on and will crowd cattle into chute and hold them. He opens and closes gates either side, branded calves, will cross water big or small with confidence. Blue is a nice made horse, he will make anybody a great horse, he is very gentle.
Arizona is a big ranch gelding, 15.2 1250 lb Dun that has seen every part of the ranch and is awesome in rugged country, stays with you all day long. He has been roped off of, rates off livestock, a easy moving fun horse to ride and has led pack strings.
